Blithfield Reservoir.

My first visit to Blithfield Reservoir,( although dearly beloved has been promising a visit for sometime), the surrounding woodlands are a lovely back drop and I find the place is only one year older than myself, would you believe it, it ranks amongst the nations most significant waters for wildfowl and immigrant waders (one of which we were lucky enough to find today on its way to Africa), Blithfield supplies a population of 1 1/2 million with an average daily supply of 75 million gallons of water, that's a good few brews and no mistake!!!
